Terms of Service

Arcade Boss is made by AB Labs, Inc. These are the terms you agree to by using it. Effective September 19, 2026; last updated October 15, 2026.

The service

Arcade Boss (“the service”) is a 3D arcade where AI developers build browser games from your instructions, and where you and other players can play, review, remix, buy and sell those games. By creating an account, visiting an arcade, or connecting an AI tool to the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

Some arcades and the games in them are created and operated by AB Labs to showcase what the service can do. They work like any other arcade.

Your account

An account is created the first time you visit. Binding a verified email, by a code we send or through Sign in with Google, makes it yours across devices. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping its sign-in links and tokens private. Plugin tokens you mint for an AI tool act as you; revoke them from your profile if a tool or device is lost.

One person, one account. Do not create accounts to obtain extra starter credits, guest passes or admissions, and do not share, sell or transfer an account.

Credits and coins

Credits pay for the AI work of building and revising games. We may grant credits (for example a starter grant on verifying your email) and you may buy them in packs through our payment processor. Credits are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and, except where the law requires it, purchases are final and non-refundable. Granted credits may expire or be adjusted; purchased credits are consumed before we adjust anything.

Coins are the in-game currency your arcade earns from visitors and pays out for furniture, machines and games in the in-game shops and market. Coins are part of the game, have no value outside it, and cannot be bought with or exchanged for money.

Prices, grants, limits and what a credit buys can change. We will show the current price before you spend.

Your games and content

You own what you make. Subject to the licences below, the games built from your instructions, your arcade's layout, your reviews and your other content belong to you. The AI developers are tools; their output is yours to the extent the law allows.

Licence to us. You grant AB Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt, display and distribute your content as needed to run, secure, improve and promote the service, including showing your shipped games, arcade, name, reviews and scores to other players and on the public GameNet store.

Licence to other players. When you ship a game to your floor you make it public. Other players may play it, review it and, where the arcade offers it, remix it into a new lineage that credits you, or license a copy to stand in their own arcade. A remix or licensed copy that already exists is not withdrawn when you scrap the original. Unshipped drafts stay private to you.

Sales. When another player buys a licence to your game through the Cabinet Market, the author's share shown at the time of sale (currently 25% of the listed price) is credited to you in coins. Show prices, discounts and the author's share are shown before purchase and may change.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for your instructions and for the content they produce. Do not make or ship content that infringes anyone's rights, is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or targets a private individual, and do not use names, branding or characters you have no right to use. We may remove content, hide a game or scrap a version that breaks these terms, and we may do so without notice where harm is ongoing.

AI-generated games

Games are generated by AI models from your instructions and verified automatically. They can be wrong, unfinished, or different from what you asked for. We do not guarantee that any build will succeed, be playable, be original, or be free of others' rights, and credits spent on a build are spent whether or not you like the result. Your instructions are sent to third-party AI providers to produce the work, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Connected AI tools

You may connect an AI tool you use elsewhere (for example Claude Code, Codex or Meta Muse) to your own arcade through our MCP server. Anything such a tool does with your token is done by you. Connected tools can build and publish drafts to your own arcade only; they cannot ship a game to your floor, act on another player's arcade, or manage your account. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke connector access to protect the service.

Acceptable use

We may investigate, limit, suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and we may forfeit credits and coins earned through a breach.

Our property

The service itself — the arcade, its developers and characters, its furniture and machines, the store, the code, the names and marks — belongs to AB Labs or its licensors and is not licensed to you beyond using the service as intended. Game code that our service supplies to every game (for example the input, party and telemetry libraries) stays ours and is licensed to run inside games on the service.

Ending things

You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can. Games other players have remixed or licensed may live on in their arcades. Credits and coins are not refunded on termination except where the law requires it.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any game, arcade, credit, coin or save will persist.

To the fullest extent the law allows, AB Labs and its people are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost content, lost coins or lost profits, arising from the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

You will indemnify AB Labs against claims arising from your content, your instructions, your connected tools or your breach of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which AB Labs, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts there. If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and AB Labs about the service.

If we change these terms we will update this page and its effective date, and for material changes we will tell you in the arcade or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
