I only played on the dream cast once back in it's early days. other then these so called leaked blogs/websites one can't see what's in the works.

I assumed the DC was a washed up and thrown out the window console

Who is really thrilled on the new release?

I think this system was kind of a flop. I was surprised Sega never really tried better to improve it. As back in the day Sega was fun to play. I guess they just can't compete with Playstation or X-Box these days.

As a matter of fact I asked my son about dream cast and he was like you mean WII....LMAO

Unless they do something really dramatic to change it. It will never be a top gaming system and compete with the PS or X-Box.

From what I've been reading, it isn't happening. But there does appear to be a new game being released for it next year called RDX2.
Never had a dreamcast but I have played on one a few times and was very impressed at the time but it was released at the wrong time with the PS2 being released less than a year later.
I've got quite a few consoles but for pure frustration and family fun my favourite has to be the binatone tv master iv I picked up a few years ago for free.

From what I remember only one person I knew had one. Fast forward to today it seems that everyone and their pets own a PS, XBOX or wii system. If dream cast does come out they need to do some damage in the console field and that means serious damage. Hell Microsoft took forever to come out with their own phone and it;s still having a hard time finding ground.

The PC well that's a whole different ball game and they wont make any waves there.

So it's anyone's guess why they waited soooooo long to release another console. If it does release I'll pick one up and keep it boxed and put away and see if I can sell it in a few years.
