I think I've been using this powerline AV ethernet adapter for 11-12 years now. It has dropped connections for both my PC and PS3 recently. This problem seems to recur especially for the PS3.

I don't think you can complain too much if it's lasted for a dozen years or so. You see a lot of things about them failing after 18 months. If you have it running all the time, it's going to get hot and that can lead to fried capacitors or a solder joint going weak. If you're into that sort of thing, take it apart and look for any bulging capacitors and replace them if you can and look for any solder joints that are starting to crack and resolder them.
Failing that, buy a new one. They're pretty cheap these days and a lot more reliable than wireless connections. |

Agree. And at about $120, that equates to $10 per year.
