Darts is a fantastic game.
One of my old jobs I had, every thursday and friday night we would stay behind, they had a great bar set-up upstairs, about 10 regulars would stay on and drink beer and play darts all night 
Fun times 
We would play 501 and around the world.
I'm the type of person that would get better after a few beers, some nights too many, while most of the group would start off good and slowly get worse.
We would play winner stays in, so if you kept winning you would always be playing.
I remember watching the world darts championship a few years back, I was very impressed.
I play darts left handed, but i'm fairly decent right handed too, as im ambidextrous.

people should stand back, very far back when i play darts! i throw hard and wild lol
I need more control over my grouping. But i do love to play. Especially when people make 'special' rules to create new games, it makes it really fun!
And i like the REGULAR cork wooden boards, not the electronic scoring ones!
old fashion is just fine with me. . . . the plastic ones are hard to score on and its easy to keep track of your own score.
i love billiard games, im just not very good at them! |

Do you mean darts, or lawn darts AKA - lawn Jarts ...

I've never heard of regular darts being banned but I know the outdoor Jarts version is banned in many countries, and I can see why.
Then again I could see it happening in a bar with people drinking and someone walking in the line of the dart. |

I've tried the game once and I didn't really understand the rules of scoring. Theirs points on the board, but it really doesn't seem to come out in the end.  |

Wow, that brings back memories of the late 70's!
Friday nights down the Furze Bush, Space Invaders machine in one corner, "We Will Rock You" on the jukebox, and playing 501-double-out with a pint of Guinness as the ante. Now THAT was living! |
