content using this thing.
That would be ideal to stop or put a major slow down on privacy.

I don't know what you're looking at. The HoloLens is a type of smartglass. Little doubt it looks heavier than Googleglass but I think for most it's managable. I don't know about the "terabytes" of data it's claimed the HoloLens can handle from the external world but it seems the holographic processor unit can augment reality in real-time and accept voice commands.
Microsoft is already talking about Skype applications. Meanwhile, I still have holovision.tv and holovision.mobi domains registered. Coolms.

You asked what i was looking at I was looking at the HoloLens. Looks a bit big to me and should be the size of glasses. It's a start never the less.
Have you seen the show caprica on syfy they used a prop called the holoband in the show.
This would be 5-10 years from now.
They did a Tupac Hologram feat Snoop Dogg Dr. Dre at Coachella Live back in 2012. People lost their minds on that one.
Mariah Carey did one as well. This is where concerts are heading.

I loved Caprica. It could have used a little more "Mormons in Space" references like the original Glen A. Larson productions. Of course, the ultimate one season series imagined by Larson for holograms would be Automan.
I believe the "holobands" were also seen in the Sliders series but not called that.
The HoloLens image I saw in Google images were powered off and a side view.

That's some great work.
Also notable are all the Japanese popstars who only exist as holograms. That may be from your video. There are also South Korean hologram popstars.
I love new technology, and I love seeing holograms, but for some reason I can't get excited about this. Maybe I need to see it in person rather than on a youtube video, to appreciate it more.
