I also vote the power to read people's thoughts..
Its only when I meet people...besides my work as a militairy man ( I'm already 4 years retired )..I was also since 1990 driving during the nights in the weekends as a cabdriver...
cabdriver...I'm doing this for almost 23 years !

That's the place to be ( in a taxi ) to learn much about all kind of different people from all "sorts and classes" ( when you would like to call people at this way )
sometimes I was driving with somebody who was addicted to drugs...
and a few minutes later I was driving with the Mayor of our town...

It will give you a lot of experiences in what way people are thinking and how they will react to certain things

Reading others thoughts no doubt would be a great ability why do you need to see whats in the safe(x-ray vision) when you can just read someones mind for the code

now the power to read someone's mind sounds interesting but, some people's mind I'd rather not know their thoughts. I think I'd be disgusted if I could

I go with superhuman strength, and here's why (this is just my opinion, folks!):

wings to fly = freedom as rogbow says, but I could travel on a plane to get somewhere, or use a hot-air balloon or hang-glider to get a taste of freedom.

x-ray vision would get boring quite quickly. After the novelty of seeing into someone's house, or looking down at underground sewers, there's not much else to do.

the power to read people's thoughts, for me, is possibly the worst of all. You have no surprises left; there is no need to connect with people to find out more about them; you are sure to find someone thinking unpleasant things (as Lonny suggested); it is basically an invasion of privacy.

superhuman strength means I could repair my house and car with ease, look after my family with no problem, I could help other people get out of physically life-threatening situations, stop the bad guys with no effort, do my best, do my duty to God and to the Queen, help other people, and keep the Scout Law. Whoa, where did that come from?

Erm... I think I over-thought this poll a little too much...
