And speaking of families, I am flying home on Friday.
I haven't seen my wife and son for a month, and I miss them so much! 
But I am sure by the weekend all my glumness will be gone 
(skype has been my friend this month  but it's never as good as actually being with the family! ) |

The good thing about YouTube is that people who are actually searching for intelligent documentaries don't type in "mind blown documentary" anyway and so all those results get filtered out.

required by the government...yearly check-up for the car....
4 new tyres and and a part of the outlet/exhaust? has to be replaced...
all together, including labor costs and tax it will cost me about
€ 850 which is a lot of money...
So its true, its not a problem to buy a car, but to keep the car in a good condition  that's a problem for most of the people  |

It is essential to keep a car in good condition for the sake of your own safety, the safety of your family, and the safety of everyone else who happens to be on the road at the same time as you!
We have to do it but, yeah, car maintenance is expensive! |

Going back a few days to Bomber's comment about car maintenance being expensive, I actually had quite a pleasant surprise today.
I needed to get rid of some nasty clunking  under my car (an ancient Mazda 323), so I took it to a local garage chain and they replaced both rear stabilizer (swaybar) links. They gave me a choice of 'el cheapo' links or a better quality Japanese 555 brand; I chose the better quality 555's.
It took them about 30 minutes to complete. The whole job, including all parts and labour came to a modest Php2,800 - or US$64.34. I don't think I have any real complaints about that! Especially now the clunking has gone.
