Today it's Ascension Day, in our country most of the people don't have to work today...
But for me it is "business as usual"...I have to work and have to bring the older people with the taxibus to their different destinations
I don't mind....it's keeping me off the street  ( it's a local expression, I think ) |

Just got my internet and phone back on after 2 1/2 days with out it. The township road crew was digging a ditch along the side of the road and cut my cable  . But, I see I have not missed anything and at least my service is now back on

| I'm going to take the exam for the Extra class amateur radio license this weds. I've taken several practice exams on eham.net and I'm pretty sure I will pass. As long as I review the math part I should be fine. Wish me luck! |

| The FCC ULS database states W3DTV has a General Class amateur radio license. That's going to change real soon. I just passed my Extra Class exam this evening. |

Thanks guys and I know I am super late on replying back. It was actually closer to 56,000 but enough about that. I don't want to sound like I am bragging or anything. I appreciate this money so much and I will save and spend it wisely.

My mom's side of the family just celebrated it's 100th consecutive year family reunion today. So nice to see the family still sticking together I hope this tradition continues for another 100 years

I agree with you.... When I was younger family reunion's were very common and part of a tradition. But, it seems as though nowadays they a thing of the past Like my dad's side of the family used to do it when I was younger but, they stopped it because of lack of participation the numbers fell from the hundreds to 28 I believe and the funds ran out to rent a place for the day etc etc so they decided to end it
I believe the family bond should be strong and is also very important in many of ways. Like the old saying goes....." Blood is always thicker than water."
