Fair enough.
Question:
Why not just auto lock it.
This board runs on phpBB back end if i'm not mistaken.
Set it to close / lock if no one respond in x amount of days.
Example:
I have my word press blogs do this every 31 day with or without comments. keeps the spammers out and far less headaches to deal with.
That way no one bumps old threads.
