Well, this is the third day now. I cannot get into this game. I am using firefox, so it cannot be my browser. When I click on play, it brings up the instructions for how to play across the top of the screen, and gets hung up on the second instr of holding w+A or D. It will not move past that. I did not click on the instructions, but it brought them up when I clicked play anyway and it will not go past what I stated previously. Not happy with this game at all.  |

I just tried this game dragonslayer and it played ok for me. What I will say, and I know this probably won't help your current situation, is that there are some games on this site that will not play for me on my home PC. One is Billy Hatcher and the Many Eggs. This game will start to load and then black screen. It happens to quite a few people here as well. Now if I go over to my parents place and play on their computer there are no issues whatsoever. My parents use Firefox as do I on my home PC but it simply does not work at home. We do have different ISPs but you wouldn't think that would prevent a game from working.
Have you tried using Opera? I use this browser as well and it works as well as firefox. Using this browser doesn't help with the Billy Hatcher game though.
I am also assuming that you read the link that rogbow gave you. There are some good tips in there as well with regards to clearing your cache and cookies.
Good luck and hope you find out what's causing these issues.

well you downloaded firefox I see so that's good. Try this Dragon since you just installed firefox.
Find your flash player and click on it's ICON to get it to open up.
Then click on the storage tab. See the Local Storage Setting by Site tab ? next to it is delete all click on that. Then their are 3 choices above that change it to...
Ask me before allowing new sites to store information on this computer.
Then go to the advanced tab under updates make sure you have the allow adobe to install updates(recommended) marked. Then click on change update settings. Then click the CHECK NOW tab to make sure you have the latest version of flash player.
That should help.

OK, will do that........ty again. I never expected to have to do all of this just to play games..............but, I'm not used to firefox, so it is a learning experience. And lucky for me, I like to learn.  |

Your Welcome.
Those steps will clean your flash player and remove all data and clean out any junk in it as the newer flash player tends to automatically save any and all data without you knowing it. This way is will be clean and then you control what sites can save data in flash player.
But once you have done this and play games that have saved data you do not want to do this as it will remove that data. If you have any problems later on then PM Dr.Nurburg and get him to provide you the link for the CC cleaner this will also help.
If that did not solve your problems then maybe like M.O.P. said for whatever reason you can not play that game from your computer or it might be intermittent.

Something else you might want to try dragonslayer. See if you can play Pirate Mayhem on this site...

If you can then it may be an issue with your PC and this site. If that is the case maybe Dr. Nurburg or another mod might have an idea from that little bit of info. Couldn't hurt.

Ty all for your help. Turns out it was just hung up, so after trying all that was suggested, I got the idea to hold down the W+a/d all at the same time and did that over and over until it released....lol. Sometimes it is just that simple, I guess.
Mechenstien, ty for that link. I have Flash Player and the latest version. And the link was very helpful because I had a heck of a time trying to find where FP is installed on my computer. |
