This YouTube video went viral just over a week ago and it's easy to see why! He is legally blind yet the car drove him just fine to the Taco Bell and back to his home!

Very cool. The video really doesn't show how the car knows where to go. I mean does he get in and say 'Take me to the Taco Bell on 5th and Main Street' or does he have to manually program it in?
I guess one thing this could eliminate would be the accidents caused when people are talking/texting while driving instead of paying attention to the road!
thats pretty cool...i would love to have one of these...tell it to take me to work every morning, and take a nice 45 minute nap on the way to work everyday _________________

Yeah that was a little better Gary didn't go very in depth though. It's funny he says they could eliminate all deaths with this what about a failure with the system ? I think it would decrease the deaths quite a bit especially the human error one's but there's still the chance for some kind of system failure so it's not 100%.
I don't think I'd ever get behind the wheel of one of these. I always prefer to be in complete control over where I'm going, which is why I don't take public transportation. I know it isn't the same, but I'd rather have a car that I have complete control over than a car that drives itself. _________________ The TGQ is the most fun section of the forums.
