For the love of all things good and holy I have to post here! I got dragged into Destroyer's rant by K2 AND I WASN'T EVEN PART OF THE DAMNED RANT OR CONVERSATION! I then got told off by A SITE ADMIN TO STOP POSTING IN THE SHOUTBOX when I asked him POLITELY to leave me out the conversation. It's this kind of petty, ignorant BS that has tired me out.
My health simply cannot handle this kind of treatment. Every time someone starts something here my name gets dragged into it somehow. Well the hell with this. I'm done being a punching bag.....

Joe it is always you and Destroyer bringing up an issue every six months. I mentioned in the shoutbox before you posted that there is a specific thread for this issue and you are not to continue the argument in the shoutbox.
As you can see from the above recent chatbox log, you are both yet again together projecting bad energy into the site.

im kinda chuckling about rogbows post...what exactly was so awful about neerafa calling you and ww out about posting 30+ gifs to pad your post count??...is it just that he used ur name??...so, because i used ur name at the beginning of this post, i am now doing something wrong??...he never said anything negative in the least bit....
most of the stuff that people complain about on here is petty bull crap....seriously people, have a little back bone...being called out for posting a ton of pics every month, NOT A BIG DEAL.....posting a picture of a bloddy hand, NOT A BIG DEAL....calling someone out cause they post that the broke the spine of an animal, COMPLETELY WARRANTED...maybe, it got dragged out a little, but thats it....yes, there are some problems here, and sometimes people cross the line, and they should be punished...but trying to single out every negative thing joe and destroyer do wrong, NO MATTER HOW SMALL AND INSIGNIFICANT, is unnecessary....
you gotta have a little thicker skin...if you cant handle being criticized on a gaming site, then you are gonna be screwed in real life
ps, thanks for quoting that chat knight...the last 4 lines are priceless

@ Neeraffa You obviously missed the point of my post. I made 1 general comment and you was quick to throw my name into this thread as casting stones when there have been far worse things said on this site. But, yet you turn the other cheek for them. Kind of like a double standard what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander. Well, everyone should be treated equal and held to the same standard the rules are the rules period.
@Bedem you missed the part where I said here's one example there are many more. I posted the weakest thing as this is a family friendly site. It shouldn't matter how big or small it may seem when it happens over and over it just festers just like I said before the rules are the rules. As a parent I would think you wouldn't let people talk to your child the way some of the teenagers get talked to here now would you ? Now if that chat log Knight posted was directed at your child would it still be funny. I doubt it.
Like Knight said this is a family friendly site with many young children on here that have been scared off because of it. It shouldn't be that way everyone should feel welcome.

Knight,
What if AB had a separate part of the forum or even a separate forum to allow for more adult orientated discussion. It could be set up in a way that you would have to be at least 18 to enter into the discussion. AB could include a disclaimer saying that the opinions expressed are not that of AB as well as any other codes of conduct that may be deemed necessary and that you should not enter into this part of the forum unless you are of proper age and are aware that there will be adult discussions taking place.
Now am I saying open it up for flaming and pornography...NO but it could be moderated with rules that allow for more open discussion/opinions without the chance of offending other members.
I guess at the end of the day nobody wants to see anyone leave the sight (except those that violate the fair play code), and the fact of the matter is that we have a blend of young people and adults that play and communicate on the site. This way it could give the adult members a place to vent (within reason) and in turn prevent the two groups from clashing in inappropriate ways.
Just a thought. |

I find it ironic that a topic that discourages spamming would itself see this kind of spam.
This is obviously spam as it contributes nothing to this thread and there was very little care shown to the message itself as even the word THREAD was misspelled in such a short message!
I will now deduct 50 credits from your account as punishment.

It's not that I endorse people who break rabbit spines, God help us all, no but it is rather a gradual accumulation of incidents between both those members that engulfed the site in a non child friendly atmosphere.
Again as you see from the above chat box log other incidents have been logged in addition, primarily complaints from other members.
In this instance it is time to step in and "nudge" those members to be more civil.
And sincerely a "nudge" was all that was intended, just as before and before and before, but they always make a mountain out of the same old boring situation.
@Master Of Puppets, that is a good idea for an 18+ forum. I will forward the suggestion to HQ.

The last thing I wanted to do today was post in this thread again but for the love of GOD that chat log was MONTHS ago. Old news, in the past, a mistake that I haven't repeated and never will. I was a bit drunk that night but not using that as an excuse. For the love of god......quit talking about me. I'm done with this whole crapstorm that I really shouldn't of been involved in anyway since the thread is titled, Spamming, flaming & arguements.

I agree with you that's a very good idea. I see Knight approves of it. Now I pose this question. Wouldn't this add a burden to the staff that already appears to be overburdened ? Just a thought or an observation. |

Destroyer is right. That chat log is from October. Just more proof of how things get stored away to be used later. If this was such an issue it should have been dealt with THEN and not NOW. Just more proof how Destroyer and I are being targeted. We're no angels and we've never claimed to be, but this kind of BS is sickening. Before anyone even wonders how I know the month it's because of the TV show I mentioned near the top. Finally, if the chat log is such a big deal why the hell has K2 put it up in a public forum where every little child he's so worried about could see it and read it? How hypocritical!

I made that very suggestion a long time ago. I was told that this is a family friendly site and that a forum such as that, even out of public view, was not conducive to the site as a whole. Further, it was also stated that if we want to have discussions like that to leave the site and find another place that would allow discussion such as that. In short, nice idea, but it ain't gonna happen. And if it does you can bet your ass it will be heavily moderated and the intent under which you have suggested it would never be realized. It's already clear that people on this site have skin as thick as wallpaper. You can bet that they'll be the first to complain when someone like Destroyer or myself get into it with them.

I kind of thought that it might do the opposite, or at least potentially be one less thing to worry about; that being the younger members being exposed to some of the comments that have been made in the general forums. As it stands right now that seems to be a concern and I thought this idea might address that need. Like I said, it's just a thought.

Maybe the timing wasn't right then. It seems apparent that something needs to be done. Times change and peoples' ideas change and maybe the idea will get looked at again. I really think this site could be accommodating to all its members if the right suggestions are given, I mean it seems like AB wants to have a wide range of games here to appease younger people as well as adults so why not have a forum to mirror that idea as well.

you know what i think is funny, there is such a problem with something that happened months ago...now, how many people before knight posted this yesterday knew any of this was ever said???....not me, and im sure not most of you....well now, thanks to knight, everyone has seen it and all the words associated with it....
so whats worse, the people who originally wrote, where very few people ever saw it....or now a mod, posting it in the forum for the whole arcade boss community to see....everyone wants to point their fingers at what destroyer and joe do....every time someone gets called out for something, the first thing they say is, "well, what about what destroyer or joe did 6 months ago"
i for one feel knight has alot more to be held accountable for than joe and destroyer do...he posted a whole page full of explicit words for everyone to see.....now before you say, well it just to show what destroyer and joe are doing wrong...its a hell of a lot worse now that everyone can see it, instead of months ago when only a few people saw it
