as far as the non escalating law. i say screw that. i'd lose my job for the same.
but the idea is. when you get hired there, you watch a vid on this situation. you're supposed to give them what they want until they leave. pulling a gun puts you and them at risk. AND ANYONE ELSE IN THE BUILDING who may have been following the 'rules' of just giving the theives what they want.

basically, he was trained on what to do. and didnt do it. and broke the law by having a firearm on premisis...
(again, i'd have done the same. with or without firearm, my instincts would probably say ''FIGHT'')
