whats your favourite board game??

Oh god there is so much game but I think my personal favorites are Risk and a few others but they are in french; Les chevaliers de la table ronde, Destins, Muchkin. Role-playing game are much more fun than video game. I play a lot of D&D, player and dungeon master. Currently, I have a Human Bard/assassin(prestige class) lvl10

That's pretty cool, so you speak french + english, do you live in france, is that why they are in french or is that just your prefered lingo + you bought them with french word's ect.

Risk is a great game, we have that one too.

My top one's are Chess + Monopoly.I do very well in both game's.
Scrabble is another favourite but i find you need to have all good player's, im quite good with english and long or tricky words but if you play against one or more people who arnt the game loses it's fun.
We have three version's of Monopoly.

I always used to play pokemon monopoly, that was such a great game, Lol.

Well, now i am into the game "Risk" more, and of course, I still love Monopoly.

Ive never heard of this game stratego Homelessthinker48.
Next time im at the the warehouse in town i'll have a look for it.
We have a large board game selection, im always on the lookout for a new good one.

When we have people over or have 4 of us here at night sometime's we play Poker.I have a very nice poker set, it's a fun way to pass a hour or two.When i was flatting in my late teen's we would play poker + drink at least once a week in the weekend, usually like 6-8 of us and usually it was for money.Many of the time's we would play through the whole night,6am we would somehow manage to work out a winner and then stumble to bed.There were 5 of us living in a 5 bedroom house but usually there were some partner's over or a couple of mate's.8 was a good number with two pack's.Make's for some good money:)

I said earlier Stratego is great. So i agree on that one. However chess and checkers IMO are overrated. Also games like sorry, yahtzee, operation...they are boring too.

I don't even play board games anymore. I did like trivial pursuit alot. I almost bought one last week at a thrift shop.

My favorite Board game is chess by far in my school ive been the champion for 3 years (since i started) been to 3 tournaments and won 2 golds and one silver the peerson that i lost to was the state champion but i gave him a run for his money.[/img]

Risk Monopoly and Clue ar definately may favorites but scrabble and trivial pursuit come in a close second

Risk Monopoly? Never heard of it. I know that some people combine games, but this one might be interesting. Can you explain the rules of it?
