Today I couldn't help thinking about what got me started on gaming. For me my very first gaming experience was with a ZX81 game called Ambush but the first game I actually bought was WWF Wrestlemania for the spectrum.
So I got to wondering, what was everyone's very first game played and first game bought. |

Mine also was the Atari, as i young kid i though it was great but it quickly lost it's novelty as the 6-7 game's we had came overly boring then when i was about 9 i got the sega master system with a ton of game's for my birthday,i think i was hooked on gaming from this machine.
My 1st ever game i completed was the built in alex the kid.
Then for me came the mega drive then the PSone was my new fave!
I loved the rally game's and the tony hawk series, when i got the PS2 i bought all the tony hawk series and completed the lot, best series in my opinion.
I gave away the ps2 many year's back then i found the online gaming community.
Ive never owned a xbox, never liked them myself. And never owned a ps3 but i now would love one, there down in price now.
I want to get a Wii for a joint pressent for my partner + me for christmas, she really want's one and i think the sport's game's would be a ton of fun.
I think the one game on Atari i played the most was Frogger, and on the master system it would have been a tie between Alex the kid and summer games.Tony hawk game's on the playstation by a long way.
I liked Driver too, that was fun, and need for speed |

My first game system when I was little was SNES and the first game that I had was Super Mario World. Later on when I was about 14 I really got into retro games and got a NES and two or three atari 2600 systems. This also came with about 100 Atari cartridges |

They are worth alot now
I might break it out in like 30 year's will be able to sell it for a ton.
It still amazes me how far the gaming console's have come |

I agree DGG, seeing what can be done with a computer now compared to 30 years ago is simply mind boggling. I remember when the Spectrum 48k came out and I was amazed at the graphics
Funny story about the WWF game I bought though. My mom and dad were seperated and I stole £20 out my dad's wallet when I was visiting him to buy the game. Unfortunately my mom had bought me the game for Christmas and as she didn't have much money it was a big deal.
If ever there was a lesson against stealing I think that's it, I felt so bad. Needless to say I was grounded for a long time |

Sega genesis. I have soooo many games for it. Sonic 1, 2, and 3d blast are great. Golden axe, streets of rage, virtual bart, those are all great too. There are a lot of games that i have for genesis that i love. |
