Anyone surprised that Inglourious Basterds has knocked off District 9 as the top grossing film of this weekend? That is the early weekend estimate found here:

| the movie looks insanely good, and everything tarantino has done has been good except deathproof so i would guess this is really good |

When you say,"i would guess this is really good." Do you mean the critical reviews are good, the way the movie sells many tickets being good or something else about this movie being good?  |

Tarantino flicks are a hit or in my option miss Jackie Brown was a great movie but he had a great writer on it
Pulp Fiction on the other hand was stylized garbage, True Romance, good movie Kill Bill was a turd...two turds actually.
You get the point havent seen this prolly wont till it hits the retail market
Thos I know seem to like it. From the trailers I feel it a lame flick. Theirs those who thought it was fracking great. Tarantino is all about dialogue, not action. I take it those with no patience or attention span should stay away from this one. So if you like what seems like intense long-playing scenes, then its for you.
Just my 2 cents.

i mean that since i like all his other movies, i assume this would be good as well, dont really care what critics say |

I feel one should watch a movie before giving one's opinion of a movie based on only watching the movie's trailers.

i'm sure this is a lame flick, I also said I probably wont till it hits the retail market i'm just gonna wait till it comes out on DVD or something.
Im not going to waste my time sitting in the cinema watching something i'm not going to enjoy what I seen on the net. I learned that from movies in the past.
I also base this on movie reviews I see quite a few ratings of 2 out of 10 - 4 out of 10. On alot of sites.
I cant count the number of stupid people who were like, "when i saw that movie, I thought wow this film is so cool" and they were always the dumb ones to tell me this. I guess their also the ones who with no patience or attention span.
Here's my review on it again: I'll Wait until it's on cable/dvd. Then give it another rating.

Really? Could you tell me how many sites you consulted or which ones they were?
Here is the one I use; Rotten Tomatoes:

It currently has 224 reviews counted for the movie and 88% of those APPROVE of Inglourious Basterds. How can that 12% of negative reviews be THAT many sites? |
