people who over use smielys in their post should be banned.
Besides some of those words are from the 80's and some are just lame or dont make sense to me why people use it like "Downsizing" down size refers to termination of employment of an employee and the rest of the words are lame internet lingo/ acronym terms used by the youngsters today. New words tend to pop up in todays society every few years or so. Words like cool, rad, bitchin, awesome and so on are here to stay.
I do agree with ICBM on the word pwned as if that word wasn't lame enough , Id like to add my own banned word - jaja I know its a spanish word but It's been over used so much now, when I hear it I want to slam my fist into the persons throat saying it.

"Back in the day", being used as a general phrase, implies that the good days of us being friends are over... it is STILL the day, unless you're implying that some people are no longer your friends.

So I hate that being used as a stand alone phrase.

If you were to say, "Back in the day of accountanting", ie when we or you were an accountant, then that makes sense.

But to say "Back in the day" stand alone, implies that the day is no more.
