Yes Folks you could have won a piece of chewed bubblegum  chewed by Kiss's front man Gene Simmons  all proceeds went to this charity ... THE CHARITY STREET LEAGUE (England Charity No: 1101313, Scotland Charity No: SCO38884)
There were 99 bidders on this item listed on E-BAY the final winning bid was...

This has got to be one of the dumbest things I understand it went for a charity but, who in their right mind would pay for a piece of used bubblegum!!

I am guessing the winning bidder was going to donate the money anyway, and it was arranged as a publicity stunt for both the charity and Simmons/Kiss.
Otherwise, I can't imagine anyone parting with money like that on used gum from a living person. Maybe for gum chewed by Elvis Presley or John Lennon, but not Gene Simmons.  |

Sometimes I wonder in what world we live...this is something really repulsive
I can understand if the buyer has so much money and decided to donate them to charity without getting anything in return...but for a gum chewed?? only a madman is capable of this!!!

| I'd pass on the gum, but most anything else I'd consider. Gene Simmons has made several recent trips to Sioux Falls, SD to help with the Kids Rock n Roll Academy. He seems to very generous with his time and donations to help raise money. Kudos to him! |
