I have been watching and paying attention to world events for the better part of 15 years, more so then our own politicians.

We have the middle east in chaos most of the middle east (with nukes) are protesting against the USA and Germany.
If the radicals get's a hold of them well you make your own assumptions.

China is messing and invading with japan's national pride. That could spark a major event[s] don't you think?

Middle east protesters overrun nuclear missile facility and launch against the US or Germany = war.

Crazy Japanese navy captain fires on Chinese navy = war

Israel fires on Iran = USA helping Israel which could result in Russia firing on USA interest = war.

So is this the beginning of our demise?

What are peoples thoughts here?

Your "valid" post is based on what you hear on TV, radio and written publications. You have no hard proof whatsoever that any of what is in the news is true. Using nothing more than heresay is pure conjecture on your part. So my comment about fear-mongering is more true, as you are simply adding to fuel to the fire, than your post. However, everyone is welcome to their opinion. With that being said my opinion is just as fallable as yours. Finally, to attempt to paint me as the reason the forum is hardly used is a fallacy. Being that your profile shows you as being a longer term member than I the fault of calm in the forum is put on your shoulders and those of a similar length of membership. Lastly, if you're going to post and ask for peoples' thoughts you shouldn't be surprised when someone disagrees with you. Instead of insulting them try saying thank you and rebuffing their thoughts with intelligent ones of your own.

What's not to understand everyone including myself says this stuff is happening because the US & other western nations interferes in middle east business. No need for T.V and radio to see that. Whit out them we wouldnt have a clue.

People love to say "if we left and pull all our troops" out and didn't do anything there that the Islamist would be happy.. This is a lie.

Truth is Radical Islamist want to unite Muslims all over the world under their own strict idealism of their own religion. They don't want to stop at their country's boarders but they want every country ruled by Islamic law.

Extremist use's these little events to create mayhem to drive a wedge between their selves and the rest of the world.

Take a look at Europe these days and look at the problems they have created there then look at every country they move to. They expect everyone else to bend to their agenda & idealism rather than fitting in with everyone else.

If history has taught us anything it's religion good or bad is the cause of most problems.

I know I could be wrong. If you look back over history, every year there is a major event that has people saying "Is this the start of World War Three?". We've forgotten most of them.

People fail to understand the concept of a world war. A world war would involve dozens of countries with massive armies facing off, and tens of millions would die.
However, there isn't too many counties who could field a huge army and it might just be irrelevant - the entire nature of warfare has changed. WWII took as long as it it did because armies were fighting across large tracts of territory, be it ocean in the Pacific or land in Europe. Blitzkrieg was sixty years ago; Now the moment the battle starts it doesn't take hours to reach the top of the government, it takes moments.

The only way we'll see WW3 is if nukes are involved, look around us how many countries have them. and if that's the case.... There won't be much to worry about the first is launched because we'll all be dead.

Thank you very much all this goes back to the 1700's when the USA was a new founded country. Let's not forget President Lincoln was not only fighting the confederacy in this country, but he was also at war with the entire Muslim world during his time. I don't hear that in today's history.

All this could be 200+ year of payback. I just can't put my finger on it since I know little on the Muslim Barbary States.

Today's history even the history channel has no reference to this war, at least I haven't seen it.

I may not have to worry about going to war since I have flat feet so that somehow makes me a disabled person. Unless if I got drafted maybe.

IDK. I sure hope not, but you never know till you know its no, lol. here's a couple of facts that might contribute 2 such a thing happening China has bought and own's a big chunk of our (USA)'s debt and if they wanted 2 collect all of the sudden how would we pay them, land or resources maybe? that and the fact that there are more people in Chinnese womens army than our country's population all together may be a reason 4 concern. and not 2 mention all the speculation and talk of China having 10,000 or so troops at a newly built base about 30 or so miles south of the U.S. and Mexican border in Mexico has some people worried but who know's? lol just food 4 thought. (ARCADEBOSS RULES!!!)
