Why does ArcadeBoss ignore people?????

I don't care anymore about the last 2 messages I sent him but why does he choose to respond to certain people and other people can just F off? It's a shame I had to make this public. I don't send him messages anymore but does anyone else have this same problem?

I guess being a former moderator, working to help your website be a better place doesn't mean a damn thing does it? I'm just a worthless piece of crap. Ignoring me is much worse than hating me.

Everyone here can see it. I don't complain about my life anymore. I'm a different person and I will never be the same person as last year because when I change, I never go back. ICBM banned me in 2009 and now we are close friends. He gave me a 2nd chance and believed that I could be a good moderator and I was. All you do Mark is ignore people. If Pennywise ignored me then I would of left this website a long time ago. Ignoring people makes them get fed up and leave.

Thank Pennywise for me being here today. He is 100 % the reason why I am here and the person that I am. If you work with people then maybe they can become a decent AB member. Pennywise turned me into a good AB member. I can literally morph into somebody completely different. It's one of my few talents. I don't model myself after anyone, he just gave me a 2nd chance and I took it and changed for the better. Learn from Pennywise instead of completely ignoring people.

I sent messages to Nick.P I wanted him to be a good member at a young age. For the most part, he proved me right. Young kids will make mistakes but I knew he would be a good member. If I didn't give a DAMN about this site then I would leave forever and wouldn't bother coming back ever!

I'm not bashing you, i'm telling fact.

I've sent AB couple of messages now and he hasn't ignored me(yet according to you) he will be on either tommorow or the next day cause it's the end of the month so you can chat to him then. Also maybe he doesn't have enough time to always be on I'm not defending him I'm just saying maybe his very busy.

You'll understand that AB often receives many messages from many members who just want to 'chat'.

As such he doesn't make it a priority to go through all messages.

The policy is to post support messages in the forums so other knowledgeable members can give advice and other members can get answers.

The only event in which you should PM AB or a staff member is if it is very important or personally sensitive.

That said AB will try to respond to messages but again it is often new members, often younger ones who just want to chat and don't realise that's not a reason to PM AB.

I'm sorry that an ex-moderator has been ignored, but AB may be busy, which is why I am here as back up. So you can always pm myself. I am second in command to AB and so if necessary I will give the issue priority.

But again, please remember unless highly important or sensitive, it should be posted in the forums.

so knight, should i open a topic or send a pm to AB about topics being closed for absolutely no reason....we were told to not post them in the botm topic anymore, so i started a new topic in the GENERAL DISCUSSION category...last time i checked, general discussion means you can talk about anything....its a sad day when people are censored for NO REASON

If you start a thread in there I will make sure it stays there. Can you also give details of topics closed for no reason. Thanks.

Censorship is actually something I fight actively. It's the last thing I'd want here. Please let me know if you think something or someone has been censored immorally.

Maybe they have too few mods and too many posts to moderate efficiently or effectively. Either way ranting about it and railing at them is unlikely to produce the result that you r looking for.

I lock temporally (20 min aprox) the topic "BOTM contenders - February 2011" because this is the 3rd time that some members attack to -White-Wolf- and for me this is to take some any reason to discussion and to get SPAM.

In this ocation nothing were sanctioned, there were reasons, but only i lock it because i saw SPAM.

If I am wrong, I assume the consequences.

I'm not sure what "ignoring" means to you in this context...

Did you think I didn't read your messages?
Or, did you expect a PM response to each of your messages?
Or, did you expect that we should remove POTM contest?

I read all your messages, but none from the last 3 seemed like they required a PM response, they seemed more like you were passing on your thoughts or suggestions like removing the Poster of the Month contest from the site.

If I remember correctly, I never said the POTM contest should be removed. I was talking about someone competing to be # 1 in POTM when it's not a real contest but that's not a problem for me anymore. I moved on.
