I am 56 years old and I perhaps belong to the oldest players on this website. But I do not feel too old for playing games at all. I like competing with younger players. Cool Unfortunately I know only a little English and my helps with longer posts are the dictionary and my two children (23 and 25 years). Wink When I was young, we had to learn Russian. Ahoi Bafusa thats nice to know that you are already a litte older than the average. In your profile I saw that you that you are from the Czech Republic and a doctor. I was born in Pilsen but lived there only for my first four years, so I cant talk to much anymore unfortunately.. Thinking of an old doctor in white clothes getting some really tough highscores is a funny thought to me ^^

Yes, you're right! I'm sorry I misunderstood you there and I'll give you an AB rep for being nice about it.

What makes it a fascinating language though? Question

Lol. It's just the unusual characters and pronunciations. Also it's evolution would be something to study.

Any language that uses letters/characters/pronunciations that differ to most western or European formats are fascinating.

Thanks for the rep, can we get back on topic now please?

I agree with the poster who said when you are older you play different games than the younger crowd. I am 58 and still enjoy a lot of the games on this site. I tend to play the ones that were in arcades years ago. Thank god for sites like these, I have saved a lot of quarters over the years.

I don't think you can really be too old to play video games. My dad plays games on Xbox Live and he's pretty good. I think thats pretty awesome.

True, my parents too had their episodes with a few games, they could be glued to a screen for hours playing Tetris or Lines, their eyes would turn red and they would totally lose track of time.

I'm 33 now, will be playing when I'm 77 (hopefully). Twisted Evil

I predict that in 30 years from now I will be 100x the gamer I am today. I will be more patient with games, hopefully, which is one quality I have improved on since I was a kid, but I still have a very short attention span, which is why I'm guessing it will be that long before I'm a great gamer.

Yes I agree with "never to old to play games"

I belong to the 50+ players..At this moment I'm 57 years old/young...
In the past ( I think it was 1974 ) I was already playing pinball in militairy cantines..later on there were video game machines with games like Pacman, Mappy, Le Bagnard etc etc We could play for hours and hours..
On my first computer I liked to play Chess games and later on games with the Yeti... Nowadays I am playing here on Arcadeboss and sometimes on my Iphone I like to play Angry Birds..

I think I'll never stop playing Exclamation Laughing

I have to agree with just about everyone in here... Then again, if we thought you're supposed to outgrow games, we wouldn't be in here, haha

I'm in my 20's and video games are my escape from the real world >.>
