My favorite album is right around smack dab in the middle, not really extremely old or new, it's called "Nimrod". 18 tracks and every single one of them is brilliant.
My Mom raised me on cheesy movies, so I kind of have a soft spot for them. "It Could Happen To You" definitely tops the list though. The score alone over that overhead shot of the buildings gets me teary-eyed in the first freakin' minute.
I was born in Michigan, as was my Dad, so I'm shackled to the Lions. Not to say they haven't been having a decent year so far, but that loss to the Packers was just painful.
I'm 35 and I've been bumming around here since I was 32. Maybe even 31. Definitely no age cap, I'll still be doing this stuff when I'm 40, or when I'm 64
When I stay up 6 hours longer than I had planned to. I'm sitting here now and it's like 2:05 AM, and I think to myself okay, well so far we're only 2 hours past our ideal bed time. But it never fails something has to come along that is just sooooo interesting to my oh-so-easily swayed self. Yesterday it was watching soldier/family reunions on Youtube. The night before that, it's watching my old vlogs from like 3-4 years ago. The night before that it's watching Judge Judy videos. I tell ya, there's always something. Tonight it might be this place! Who knows!
Actually this is pretty fascinating. Even if the body couldn't be preserved, it would be pretty rad if they could find a way to preserve our brains, consciousness, memories and stuff. Of course a lot of good it would do to be conscious of the fact that you were basically stuck in one spot forever! Haha
