The end and control points of the lines are repelled by your mouse pointer.
Each point has an associated friction value so it will eventually slow down and not go whizzing off the edge.
You can add and take away lines to your heart's content.
This is utterly useless, apart from being a mild diversion, maybe even a stress reliever…
